What we offer ...

Emu Oil

Emu oil is an excellent moisturizer and promotes the growth of healthy skin. It is composed of essential fatty acids, including linolenic, linoleic acid. Especially useful in treating arthritis, as an anti-inflammatory, it also soothes due to mild pain-relieving properties.

The anti-viral, anti-bacterial oil is beneficial in healing burns, diminishing scarring, and improving flexibility of the skin following surgery. When used alone, it is useful "anywhere you have skin, " for conditions ranging from chapped lips and cold sores to winter-cracked fingers and from arthritis to eczema and psoriasis.

Used in combination with other healing agents, it enhances their effectiveness by increasing the speed of absorption and penetration. The "Laid in Montana" Emu oil products use only the finest, all-natural herbs and complementary oils to facilitate healing.

Emu meat
More than just a "three letter flightless bird from Australia" in a crossword puzzle, the Emu provides a dark red meat that is 98% fat-free, is high in iron and protein, and contains zinc and Vitamin B12. A University of Wisconsin study, released in June, 2000, revealed emu meat to be more healthful in 15 out of 20 nutrients, when compared with other lean meats. More information on "Emu Meat" can be found here.

As with wild game and other lean meat, care must be taken during cooking to retain moisture by marinating or by searing quickly in a moderately hot pan (250°-275° F), immediately prior to serving.

Marinate steaks in your favorite marinade or try any of the popular salad dressings now available, such as an apricot-dijon, or honey mustard dressing. Or enhance your steaks with a sauce, such as:

Mushroom, butter, wine sauce.
Tomato, Italian herbs, wine.
Fruit (i.e. huckleberry, apricot, or peach) glaze.
Sour cream, rosemary, garlic salt, pepper.
